My twin sister and I celebrated our 30th birthday FOR THE 10th YEAR IN A ROW!
When I was young, I always remember thinking that 40 seemed soooo old....now, it is just a number. I am so blessed to share my special day with my best friend and sister Tara. We have had a crazy year to reflect on.....
- Tara is now cancer free
- Our father is recovering wonderfully from quadruple bypass surgery
- Our mother is recovering from bowel surgery and a serious thyroid condition
- My beloved husband started a new job after searching for over a year to find the right one and doing whatever he had to do to provide for his family
- Payton is medicine free for the 1st time in 5 years~having immunity deficiency disorder, it is a huge accomplishment!
- Sydney is very excited about having her visit to the orthodontist and getting her teeth fixed!
- Lacey is doing fabulous at college-growing and maturing while miles away. She has become such an amazing young woman, we are so proud!
So all in all, turning 40 is like a drop in the bucket!

After all, 40 is the new 30. Welcome, I have been in the 40s for a few yrs. Not so bad, once you get used to the aches and pains....
