I just love Track and Field Day! I remember as a kid looking so forward to it. Making the shirts, planning out the name of our class, wanting so badly to be the winning group. At the end of the day....we were all winners and to prove it, we were all awarded the ribbons...ya know the participant ribbons that everyone got but made you feel sooo incredibly special. My girls also love Track and Field Day. This year they were the Drew's Crew and the the Kindergarten Crew. They had so much fun...but like years past it was SOOOO hot. Why is it that it falls on the hottest days of the year? The girls were sweating their booties off! Paytons favorite event was the bean bag toss, while Sydneys favorite was the potato sac race.

Sure looks like fun! Our field day is today and thankfully we've got 75 degrees forecasted... we've had WAY too many smokin' hot field days!
What kid does not LOVE field day?! Looks like a ton of fun!
