Today was the girls dance recital and what a recital it was! Sydney has been dancing at the same dance studio for 4 years! She started out as a "baby ballerina" and has progressed into a beautiful ballet dancer. This was Payton's first recital. She started in September and although it started off rough (she used to get asked to leave ALL THE TIME for not participating!) she absolutely loves it now. She did great on stage! They both had beautiful songs~I cried during both performances. Next year Sydney wants to do a ballet and acrobatic class and Payton will take another ballet/tap class. Sydney is already looking forward to next years recital because she will get a trophy for 5 years of dance!
