People always say adoption is a leap of faith and quite frankly, I agree. When we decided to adopt, we definately wondered how it would impact our family. We already had two beautiful girls whom we loved dearly. We were genuinely happy, but knew someone was missing. When I reflect on all the questions that went through our minds, all of the potential concerns we had are now diminished. We are one of the lucky families who did not experience any real adjustment issues. We had issues, but they were minor and resolved quickly. She bonded slowly, but strong. She, when she was ready showed us who she was....a willful, strong, smart, sassy little girl. She has a mind of her own and lets us know it EVERYDAY! She loves her sisters and they love her. She is the perfect addition to our family. She is the most beautiful little girl in the world. I ask people all the time, How did we get so lucky? I don't want to give the impression that life is all perfect and rosy, we have our fair share of problems. We have 3 girls...what would you expect? In the grand scheme of things, life for us is good, bad and some days......indifferent.

How beautiful is she? Her hair is sooo long. I am trying to let AC's grow out. It is so thin.
I can totally relate to your posts. We are the lucky ones to be blessed with these beautiful children. The good days outweigh the bad days.
