This picture was taken in January 05' right before we traveled to China. Someone who traveled before us just posted some pictures to the orphanage group I belong to and this is one of them. Although I crave to know what life was like for Payton before she joined our family, I can't help but want to cry when I look at this picture. What was she thinking? was she cold? was she hungry? was she happy? sad? I thank God everyday for blessing us with such a special gift and we couldn't love her anymore than we do, but I just wish we could have been united sooner.

Precious Payton
